The Sahodaran Ayyappan Museum is an innovative fusion of traditional and interactive exhibitions that offers a remarkably genuine experience. Sahodaran Ayyappan was born in one of the traditional thatched roof (coconut leaves) homes in the museum complex. This museum overlooks the River Periyar and the boat jetty for the MHP Project. Sahodaran Ayyappan's life, career, and movements against the caste-madness of Kerala society are depicted in the museum. Opening hours: Daily 9 am–5 pm
